5. The duties and fees payable under this Regulation will be adjusted on the 1 April each year, in keeping with the rate of increase of the general Consumer Price Index for Canada, as determined by Statistics Canada for the 12 month period ending the previous 31 December.

The duties, calculated in the prescribed manner, are reduced to the nearest dollar if they include a fraction of a dollar lower than $0.50; they are increased to the nearest dollar if they include a fraction of a dollar equal to or higher than $0.50.

Each year, as soon as possible after the new duties and fees have been determined, the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux will publish a table of them in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
